Mr. Maloney began his education at Seton Catholic School in Meadville, PA where he attended grades K-8. At a young age, Patrick held a passion for sports and tried to participate in as many as possible. After 8th grade, he attended Saegertown High School where he graduated in 2010. During his time at Saegertown, Patrick was a member of the Art Club and the National Honor Society. He played Ice Hockey and Lacrosse in Erie as well as out of state. In his junior year of high school he made his debut with a Jr. UJHL hockey team, the Jamestown Jets, where he played at a very high level of competitiveness.
Following graduation from high school, Patrick attended Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training in 2014. During his years at Mercyhurst, he played for the ACHA D1 Club Hockey Team and was a member of Iota Tau Alpha for Athletic Training. He also completed seven different athletic training rotations, consisting of over 1,000 hours at a variety of local high schools and colleges where he gained valuable experience.
After graduating from Mercyhurst, Patrick became a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer and began working Per Diem at Allegheny College, covering Men's and Women's Soccer, Cross Country and Tennis. In September 2014, Patrick was hired by Greenville Orthopedics Association to work as the High School Athletic Trainer at Greenville High School. Patrick and his wife live right outside of Hartstown, where they attend the Hartstown Presbyterian Church and enjoy the country lifestyle. In Patrick's spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing and is the proud artist at PM Feather Paintings.
